PBS and the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) will debut “Asian Americans,” the most ambitious television chronicle of the Asian American story in the United States. It premieres on PBS on May 11 and 12 during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
“Asian Americans” is a five-part film series that chronicles the contributions and challenges of Asian Americans, the fastest-growing ethnic group in America. Told through individual lives and intimate personal histories, the series explores the role that Asian Americans have played in the country’s past, present, and future.
