The Chinese Railroad Workers of North America Project at Stanford University (CRRW) and the Chinese Historical Society of America Museum (CHSA) cordially invite you to a luncheon and afternoon program celebrating the lives of the Chinese railroad workers who were essential in building the United States’ first Transcontinental Railroad.
Featuring: presentations of Stanford’s CRRW Project research (including history and archaeology); stories from descendants of railroad workers; songs & stories performed by CHSA Artist-in-Residence Charlie Chin; viewing of exhibits and the Golden Spike; and more!
