We are excited to share that Christmas in the Park and History San Jose have teamed up this year to create Christmas in the Park – A Drive Thru Holiday!
It’s a drive-through Christmas in the Park, but so much more: a 325 foot light tunnel, a 27×36 pixel lighted forest, 12 foot high by 96 feet long lighted pixel walls, snowflake arches, reindeer arches and a 125 foot light tower that you drive under! PLUS… animated displays, hundreds of decorated trees AND 30+ throwback buildings all decorated for the holidays inside History Park!
Directions: Exit Highway 280 at 10th St., then go south on 10th St., left on Keyes St., right on Senter Rd., left on Phelan Ave. History Park entrance is ahead on left.
Ambassador Volunteer Program
Christmas in the Park is seeking adults to be Ambassador volunteers this holiday season. As a volunteer your duties could include staffing the Santa House, scanning tickets at the entrance gate, or helping with traffic control at the event this holiday season between November 27th and January 3rd. We ask that volunteers work a minimum of 15 hours, which equates to about 5 shifts. This program requires volunteers to go through a training session and a background check. You will receive an Ambassador jacket and earn opportunities to win raffle prizes. For this program, volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
