The Japanese American Museum of San Jose (JAMsj) is commemorating the 125th anniversary of San Jose’s Japantown with a special open house celebration.
At 1:30 pm, there will be several keynote speakers, including Connie Young Yu (CHCP Advisory Board Member and Historian), author of Chinatown San Jose, USA, who will be speaking about Heinlenville Chinatown before Japantown (1887 to 1930s).
