The Chinese Historical and Cultural Project (CHCP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations to CHCP are tax-deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.

To make a tax-deductible donation, send a check (payable to CHCP; on memo line, designate donation category: General Donation, Scholarship, WWII Project, etc.) to:

Membership

CHCP Membership Has Its Privileges!

Join the Chinese Historical and Cultural Project by purchasing CHCP Memberships. The various membership levels are:

Standard Level Memberships (see note below for Patron renewals)

• Individual – $50/year
• Family/Dual (two persons) – $85/year
• Student (with valid student ID) – $25/year

Patron Level Memberships (see note below for Patron renewals)

• Patron Individual – $100/year
• Patron Family/Dual (two persons) – $135/year

NOTE:  In recognition and appreciation for our 2020 Patron Level Members who are renewing for 2021 and were unable to fully utilize their ROAM reciprocal museum privileges due to COVID-19, we are extending your ROAM privileges through the end of 2021, so your special renewal rates are:

Special 2021 Patron Level Membership Renewals (For 2020 Patron Level Members Only)

• Patron Individual – $50/year
• Patron Family/Dual – $85/year

In addition to supporting the organization’s mission: educating, promoting, and preserving Chinese and Chinese American history and culture, members receive the following:

* ROAM (Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums) membership includes free admission for two adults at approx. 60 museums in CA and 400 museums in North America. Children 12 and under (or under 18) are usually free, with discount available for students. To see the list of participating museums, go to:  https://sites.google.com/site/roammuseums/home/list-of-roam-museums. Please check admission details for the ROAM-affiliated museum prior to visit; some restrictions may apply as set by each museum.

** Downtown SJ Arts Dining Discount Certificate provides discounts at major downtown San Jose restaurants ($10 savings/table; minimum purchase may be required; additional restrictions may apply).  NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Dining Discount Certificate Program is suspended for 2021.
